I have Outlook Express 6 (OE) on one computer running Windows 98SE and
Outlook 2002 (OL) on another computer running Windows XP. How can I transfer
items in the Inbox of the OL on one computer and add them to the Inbox of the
OE on the other computer.

Export to Outlook Express on the computer that has Outlook and then re-use
the exported file on the computer with Outlook Express - see this page for
additional help - http://www.insideoe.tomsterdam.com

After furious head-scratching, varvani asked this group:

Thanks Milly

Having copied the OE inbox (.dbx files) from one computer if I paste them
into the OE on the other computer it will overwrite the items in this OE. How
can I merge the two?

Waiting anxiously for tips.

In Outlook Express, File > Import > Messages and browse to the location that
they're at on your hard drive.
