how do yuou get help

i need help downloading a file from ms download but i don't know what the
name is and when i search on it i don't get any useful info. i have a bad ms
clips file that keeps me from opening images. so i try to delete the bad
file but i don't know the name and i can't update because i can't find file
and ms help site is no help how does somebody get some help
this shouldnt be that big a deal but i can't find disk and so i am stuck and
no one can tell me how to know what file to delete or how to get the bad one
fixed. i don't want blood or money just need this file fixed. i spent all
day and i'm about fed up to here.
 
you need to post more info, type of OS, what kind of problem(be specific),
error message, file complete name. I can't help if i don't understant what
you want!!!!

Since you must know the name of the bad file in order to
delete it, then do a search for it at the Microsoft download
site:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Search.aspx?displaylang=en.

It should lead to several places where it might be possible
download the file.

If the file is not located here or if it is not a Microsoft
file, then go to http://www.google.com/, and do a similar
search.
