How do you turn of a warning message from coming up when an action button is
clicked on during a slideshow?

You shouldn't get a warning message.

What have you got, "behind" the button?

If nothing then perhaps this is why the warning is coming up.

Right click on the Action Button (whilst in Normal View) / Edit Hyperlink -
make sure that you have set up things correctly in here.
