how do you transfer e-mail from the mac to a pc with outlook

we are changing from a mac enviroment to a pc enviroment and out it manager
does not know how to move e-mail from the mac to the pc windows.

can anyone help?

What mail program are you moving from? Can it export its data in any
standard formats?
