I cant set up a network on my two home computers.

They both run on xp pro.
I have two Belkin ethernet adapters and 10m of cable.
I have wired up the network but my two computers tell me
that it is unplugged.
I have run the setup for a home or small office network,
but that doesnt work.

Can anyone tell me how to set up a network on xp pro
between two machines to share a broadband internet
connection mainly.

Thanks in Advance!!!

Are you sure you have the correct cable? To connect 2 computers directly
(nic to nic) you need a cross over cable. See these sites for good
instructions for setting up home networks.
