how do you set auto shading of cell based on percent value in exc.

How do you set a cell value to change colors based on the value input within
a cell? I have received an excel spread sheet that the shading changes from
green to yellow or red based on percent

this is done through conditional formatting (found on the format menu) -
have a look at help for more details, or if you'ld like assistance with
setting it up, post back with the criteria and cell references you want to
use.
