How do you save your desktop

I know this may sound silly but how do you save the desktop...i have never needed to do this before..but i press printscreen and cant find where the hell the image has been saved to...

Can anyone point me in the right direction please...

go to paint, paste and save as a jpeg ... or whatever you feel like ... im not sure but i think printscreen is like copy or something ... so i guess you have to paste it

All print screen does is capture the screen and save it to the clipboard.

Prt Scr >> Paint >> Edit >> Paste

Save as either jpeg or bmp

Resize using Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or Irfanview (Irfanview is free)
