How do you save something as a doc file?

I am trying to save scores and it is telling me to save as a doc. file,
though I can't seem to figure it out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What does this have to do with Outlook?
 
Well Brian its it Outlook where I had mail sent to me and it said to save as
a doc. file. Considering it came in my outlook mail that would make it a
outlook ? I thought. Thanks for help anyway.

Where in your original message to you ever mention Outlook at all?

What's stopping you from saving it as a DOC file? GIve it a name that ends
in ".doc"
