How do you modify print margins without ruining whole document?

Hey guys,

I'm doing a major work and it has a lot of graphics. I just did a print
preview and realised that the all pages have like a white border around them
- my graphics are getting cut off and so is my background.

I tried to modify the print margins by just moving the hourglass and the
other object on the ruler and the actual ruler. The problem is that each time
I do that, my texts and graphics move and everything goes out of proportion.

Any help appreciated,

Thanks guys.

When you modify the page margins (either by dragging the margin
markers on the ruler, or by going into File | Page Setup |
Margins), Word will automatically rearrange the document contents
to fit within the new margins.

I think your real problem is that your printer cannot print all
the way to the edge of the page. Most printers can't. Most
printers have non-printable areas along the page edges that range
from 0.1 to 0.7 inches depending on which edge of the page and
the brand and type of printer. What you see in Print Preview is
the portion of your document that your printer is actually
capable of printing.

Hey garfield-n-odie,

thanks for your reply. Is there any way I can change this or is the printer
just like that?

Thanks,

Kul
