how do you keep windows xp sp2 on your computer after system recov

see when ever i need to do system recovery i have to keep downloading the
updates just to get windows xp sp2 again pls help

If you're using an OEM Recovery CD to perform the recovery, there's
very little you can do about it, other than asking the computer
manufacturer if they're willing to provide you (at small cost) an
updated Recovery CD.

More importantly, why do you repeatedly need to do a system recovery?
It would probably save you time, in the long run, to track down and
eliminate the problem(s) that cause you to take such a drastic action as
a reinstallation of the OS.
