Try starting Outlook in safe mode.
How to:
* Start | Run
* Type: outlook.exe /safe
* OK button
What this does is shutdown all custom views, menu/toolbars, and 3rd party
addins. Considering that a nasty little virus was just released today
called W32.Novarg.A@MM and is currently slamming around the internet.
Please take extra care if you need to unhook/disable your 3rd party
antivirus program from Outlook. I wouldn't want you to get caught with your
guard down while troubleshooting this issue. (Major vendors like Symantec
are releasing definitions today to deal with this little pest.)
