How do you download the "Ultimate Boot CD"

I do a Google Search on "UBCD Download" and I get several pages of hits on
"UltimateBootCD,com". All of the sites have "Download UBCD" written accross
the top of the page. But clicking on anything on the page does not download
anything. I do find a link to the page"UltimateBootCD.com\Download",
however. Clicking on this link produces the error message "You don't have
permission to access /download/ on this server". How do I get permission?
How can I get a copy of the "Ultimate Boot CD"?

If you cannot figure out how to get the tools to make one, perhaps you
should reconsider the attempt. *grin*

The original UBCD can be found here:
http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/
(Download Specific: http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/download.html <- scroll
down to the mirrors.)

However - that is not a Windows UBCD - that is a Linux CD - very useful!

If you want a Windows version of it (even states it on the page I just gave
you), go here:
http://www.ubcd4win.com/
Where you can go here:
http://www.ubcd4win.com/howto.htm
and walk through the step-by-step instructions on how to create your CD. It
tells you what you need to have (on your own) and where to get what else you
will need to build your very own BartPE Windows Ultimate Boot CD - which
is - I would bet - what it is you are trying to do.

There is no legitimate Windows Ultimate Boot CD in full available for
download that I know of - as that would be against all sorts of licenses and
cause lots of trouble for anyone trying to legitimately host such a thing.

Hmmm... are you sure about that Shenan? UBCD for Win is based on BartPE
(in fact requires it), which has been recommended by several MVPs and
the author of BartPE has ensured there are no license violations in
utilizing BartPE on a PC with a licensed installation of Windows. I
realize there was some debate over thisin the past but I'm pretty sure
that's all been laid to rest.

100% positive, no. However, let me put it another way...

Just like I would not leave a "used" computer system with the operating
system I bought it with (as it was installed when Ibought it) - I definitely
would not trust someone elses Windows UBCD. I will be booting other
peoples' systems with this - so it is not just my data that could be at risk
here.

Interesting Side Note - in the official FAQs for the Windows Ultimate Boot
CD:

Why isn't UBCD4Win available completed in ISO format?
Simply, copyright laws. In order to create the UBCD4Win boot disc, XP files
are pulled from your XP CD. That is how the project boots into a mini "XP"
environment. If we made the ISO available MS would shut the site down and
probably sue me.

Yeah, niether would I. But my understanding of legitimate use of BartPe
and UBCD only applies to a use on a PC with a legitimate installation of
the OS in the first place.

Rightly so. Another side note, it doesn't require the installation CD,
alternatively you can (and I think _should_) use the i386 folder on a
legitimate installation as the source. That way you are ensured that
your source for the resultant ISO (that you must creae yourself, again,
rightly so) is from a legitimately licenced installation of the OS.
