I have an account on my computer and set-up the POP on my laptop... When I
delete from my laptop or vice versa I want it to delete from both.

You cannot do this unless you buy a third party sync solution
The email app on the two PC's is entirely self contained, just as if you
deleted a word doc on one PC it wouldnt be removed from the other PC

So there is no way to map a drive where both outlooks read from the same data
files?

There is, but it is unsupported by MS and is one of the quickest ways to
corrupted pst files. (I speak from experience). The easiest answer is to see
if your ISP offers IMAP email accounts.

Well yes, if the PC's are networked, but then that type of connection isnt
supported by MS as it can and does lead to corruption of the data file

No error message! Trying to Mirror outlooks w/out an exchange server.
As I delete in one I want it to delete on the other (laptop, desktop)

Sadly, I am working with Vista
Outlook 2007

Thanks for your help

For the e-mail to remain on the mail server after you have retrieved it
means you are using POP and reconfigured its default to deleted messages
from the mail server to keeping those messages on the mail server. The
default behavior of POP is to retrieve and delete. That means the
e-mail will no longer be on the mail server for your other e-mail client
to find it. For the e-mail to remain on the mail server so a 2nd, 3rd,
and 4th e-mail client can find it there means you had to change the
configuration of the e-mail account that you defined in your e-mail
client to "leave messages on server".

When you delete an e-mail in a local e-mail client, and when using POP,
you are only deleting your local copy of that e-mail. If you chose to
"leave messages on server" then you deleting the local copy does
absolutely nothing to delete the separate copy up on the mail server.
By configuring the POP account in your e-mail client to leave them on
the server, it doesn't delete them from there.

POP is not designed for multiple access of the same mailbox by multiple
and separate e-mail clients. But IMAP is. If you want to access your
mailbox using multiple e-mail clients and have them all synchronized
then stop using POP and start using IMAP. You'll have to check with
your e-mail provider if they support IMAP.

As I said, the only real way of doing that is to use IMAP mail accounts. Or,
you could set up your own mail server...
