Changing the font size does not affect the size of the check box itself; and
you are right, there is no property available to change the color of either
the check box itself or the check mark. If I remember correctly, these are
Windows settings and you would need to use subclassing to override the
Windows defaults for the CheckBox. To the OP... trust me, you do not want to
get involved with subclassing (if you can even do it with Excel controls).
