how do u delete a browser window?

Every time I start windowsxp, I get a browser window that pops up. There is
no "x" in the upper right corner of the window to delete it. How do I get
rid of this problem?

Look in the START UP group, under START button|ALL PROGRAMS for a shortcut
that might trigger this.

Look at msconfig...
Click START|RUN and type msconfig. OK, then click the Start Up tab.
UNcheck the suspected item. There will be a prompt on next boot. Check
its box.
