Ow, your screaming in the Subject line (all caps) hurt my ears. Bye.
Done yelling at us volunteers yet? Thankyou.
Google does work
(
http://www.google.com/search?q=+Outlook++XML++contact) where I
found
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/chats/trans/office/off0619.mspx
which said:
"Q: Ok so how do I export the client contact information from outlook
into an xml format? And will I be saving all of the different contacts
into the same database?
A:Jenny, I’m currently trying out the feature in Outlook where you
export contacts to Excel. Then you’d need to write a schema, add it to
Excel, and map it to you data. Then XL can output the data in XML for
you."
Well, that pretty much sucks. You have to export from Outlook to Excel
and then use Excel's XML support to generate the output for you. Note
that the article is talking about 2003 versions. Otherwise, the only
file formats you get when exporting from Outlook are those listed in the
File -> Save As dialog.
In looking at
http://www.mvps.org/ for Outlook, you'll find the
http://www.slipstick.com/ web site. I did a search on "XML" over there
and didn't see anything mentioned about exporting to XML format but it
was a quick scan so I might've missed something about it. There are
other web sites listed at mvps.org so maybe one of them happens to hit
on exporting contacts to XML format.
