How do I write a funeral thank you card?

Is there a proper format that I should use when writing thank you cards for
donations at a recent funeral?

Especially since I am pretty sure etiquette (at least Miss Manners) says
such cards ought to be handwritten! :)
 
Probably. Certainly condolence notes must be handwritten, and ideally the
acknowledgments should be, too, but I get an awful lot of printed cards that
in many cases are lucky to include a handwritten signature.
