How do I use the graphics and formatting tools to prepare a resum.

I'm really a novice. I tried to use a template, but I decided to just write
the resume myself. What I want is to use a simple ,yet attractive heading on
all 3 documents i.e. thank you letter, cover letter, resume. I want to shade
the paper,use color at the top-where My personal info is, and use bullets
too. Thanks in advance.

tips. Create your letterhead as a template (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/CreateATemplatePart1.htm); you can
then type anything on it.
