How do I use the Administrator account when it is in reserve?

I created another administrator account, but now need to know how to use the
original administrator account that is now in reserve. A lot of programs,
etc. are under the login of the original administrator.

Programs are not under the login of any particular account. If a program is
no accessible just copy the shortcut to it to the working account.

John John gave you info on how to access the Administrator account for XP
Home. For Pro from the Welcome Screen in normal mode do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice
to get the classic login box, type Administrator as the user name, and then
the password.

You should not use the Administrator account for day to day activities. You
should have at least one additional admin level account and use that one.
Or you could also add any number of limited user accounts and use one of
those, but at least have a second admin level account.

You can copy data and settings from the Administrator account to another
admin level account. See this link:
