e.g.

I work 35 hours a week, 7 x 5 days. Any time over 7h per day is flex time.
Any less than 7 is negative flex time. I need to calculate daily my running
flex time. Flex time needs to be both positive and negative and displayed in
hh,mm. My cycle runs 4 weekly.

Ta!

You can change the settings under tools>options>calculation to 1904 date
system that will allow negative times, note that all dates will get 1462
days added to them so if you use this make sure you convert the dates back
by putting 1462 in a cell, format the cell as date and copy it, select the
dates you want to change back and do edit>paste special and select add. You
can also convert the times to decimal times and do the calculations, if you
multiply excel times with 24 and format as general or number you will get
decimal times
