I want to write an e-mail and use my logo from my images folder on my website
without having the image change to a "cid:???" link.

I want to be able to write html code within my e-mail message. I'm using
outlook 2003 and using word as the editor.

When I go to insert picture from file and type in the web address it somehow
gets converted to an embedded picture?

This way I can check who receives my e-mail.

See if unchecking the 'send a copy' option here helps: Tools menu > Options

Have tried this to no avail.

The only way I can do it at the moment is to uncheck "use word 2003 as your
mail editor" then creat a new message, insert picture and I can then tpye in
the source address. I then save the message in drafts.

I then change my mail settings back to use word 2003 as my editor, reopen
the saved message and it's ok, I can then add links, bookmarks and such like
to my e-mail.
