Don't ask. But, I have managed to install Win. XP Home
edition TWICE on my PC. How do I uninstall both of them
and start over. Formatting the drive is NOT an option.

Err, yes it is...it happens to be your only option, if you want to 'start
over' then you have to format. If you don't want to format then I guess you
don't want to start over, right?

.
You'll have to download the harddrive partitioner from
the manufacturer. Open your case and read the name and
go to their website, it should be free. Repartition it
to one (1) drive (C) and format at the same time. There
are 3rd party partitioners available on the web but most
are not free. Then reinstall WinXP and be sure to create
a boot disk (floppy) or if available a boot CD.
