i am trying to type cubic centimeters in a word document, but for the life of
me i can't remember how to.....can anyone help? thanks!

After you type cm3, select the 3, and superscript it by pressing Ctrl+Shift+=
or clicking Format | Font | Superscript | OK.

Hi Mumsy,

To write cubic meter, highlight '3' and then from the 'Format ---> Font'
check the 'Superscript' tick box from the effects. It will solve the problem.
This option you can use to whenever you want to make superscript characters (
like 7th, 38 º etc..)

There is one more way that you can use 'Alt' key combinations.
cubic meter - Alt+0179
sq. meter -Alt+0178
degree - Alt+0186 like that

if you want more combinations contact me on (e-mail address removed)

Type cm, press Ctrl+Shift+=, type 3, press Ctrl+Shift+= again (or
Ctrl+Spacebar), and continue typing. If you have already typed cm3, select
the 3 and either press Ctrl+Shift+= or go to Format | Font and select
Superscript.
