how do i turn on virus protection!!!!!!??

i keep getting this pop-up from norton anti virus that says my virsus
protection is turned off. I have fixed the problem in the past by turning on
windows security virus protection, but somehow it came off again. now it is
on "Not-monitored". I am wondering how to turn it on.

Open control panel/security updates.
click on the ornage "virus protection" bar.
Click on "recommendations".
Choose the appropriate options.

If necessary you can click (on the left)
"change the way security center alerts me"

I suggest you conatct Symantec.

Sometimes the protection will NOT turn on if the product is not fully or
properly installed.

Symantec tech support will happily assist you to resolve your problem.
