how do I turn off virus detection from microsoft?

In the control panel I have it so I wont be alerted of new virusis on my
system. But it still alerting it says your computer is infected click
here to protect your computer...

How do I disable this icon from poping up all the time.

Is this a pop-up window from Internet Explorer? Or is it from Windows
itself?

This message is not coming from the Service Pack 2 Security Console. It
is most probably coming from malware you have on your system. Here are
general removal steps to get your machine cleaned up:
