How do I turn off Track Changes?

Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000

When I get emails from some people and try to forward them, but make some
changes, every change shows up highlighted with my name next to it, even if
I just add a comma or something.

In Word this is called Track Changes, and under Tools, Options, I can turn
it off.

In Outlook 2000 I can't find where I can turn this off. It is turned off by
default in Word. The reviewing toolbar lets you accept or reject changes
but I just want to shut it off!

Thanks,
Mich

In OL2002, disable the option "Mark my comments ..." under Tools ->
Options -> Preferences -> E-mail Options. Don't know if the option is in
the same place in OL2000 is wasn't there in a prior version.

I was able to find this in Outlook 2000 but the 'Mark my Comments' field is
greyed out and unavailable to turn on or off.

How is this activated or turned off?

Thanks,
Mich

Don't use Word as your e-mail editor called by Outlook. Change back to
using Outlook's embedded editor. Then see if this option is enabled (and
uncheck it). Then decide if you want to go back to using Word as your
e-mail editor. If the problem continues then it is a Word problem and not
with Outlook.
