How do I turn off edit/pagination symbols in Word or Outlook Word.

Hello,
Somehow while editing an email in Word for Outlook, I managed to turn on the
feature which shows the editing and pagination symbols. How do I turn that
off. For example, when I hit the Enter key. It puts the little down/left
pointing arrow symbol where it hit the Enter key.
 
Click the button on the Word toolbar that looks like a paragraph symbol.
