How do i turn MP3 files in WMA files? Because the MP3's
won't burn onto a cd

First if u try to convert an MP3 to a WMA u will lose
quality. second u can so burn MP3's to CD, all music will
be converted during the burning process. You should be
trying to use WMP9 to burn CD's, or download and install
Nero to burn music CD's.

As Chris Lanier says, it's a bad idea to convert your mp3 files to wma
first.

You must have some cd burning software that came with your computer, or with
your burner if you bought it separately- use it instead of WMP. Nero or
Easy CD come with most burners but if for some reason you have neither,
install Musicmatch Jukebox (freeware version) from:
http://www.musicmatch.com/

Musicmatch will burn audio CDs from mp3 files with no problem. It will also
convert mp3 files to wav files, which is a better way to go than mp3>wma.

Ian.

With Nero, it's not necessary to convert files when creating an audio CD.

To burn an "Mp3 CD" out of WMA's you must convert the files to MP3's first,
and as i can tell you know you will lose quality in your music files. being
compress twice can only make it cound worse. conterany to other advice if
you try to decompress an WMA to WAV then convert it back to an MP3 you still
lost quality.

Bottom line if you need to make an "MP3 CD" you must have MP3's to do it.
Blaze MediaConverter is a great program to do this, if you have to.
