How do I transfer my Outlook 2002 backup to a new computer?

Unfortunately I did only an export. I have the following files:
Folders
Outbox
Deleted Items
Inbox
Pop3uidl
Drafts
Offline
Sent Items

All are .dbx files. I need to access my Folders file. Is there anyway at
all to recover this? The computer the Outlook PST file was on is gone
(destroyed).

hi jill,

have a look at this tool brought to you by the installation of office:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1031\SCANPST.EXE

maybe it will repair your pst file.

DBX files are from Outlook Express and have nothing at all to do with
Outlook.

These are the wrong files. Outlook Express uses DBX files, not Outlook.

If you don't have your PST, you're screwed. Start over.

Hey

you should use Network/Unplugged (http://www.mobiliti.com/tech4.html)
... it is a very efficient product and has lots of features.. our firm
has been using this thing for a year now and we can backup all kinds
of files over networks and between our laptops and desktops...
