I'm trying to transfer all my emails out of my "Jens Emails" folder on my
downstairs computer that has Outlook 2000, and copy them to my Outlook 2002
on another computer. The big problem is that I only see a Jens Emails.dbx
file on my downstairs computer. All the email folders in Outlook 2000 have
matching .dbx files. Aren't those the files with my emails in it? Where do
my emails get saved to in my other computer (Outlook 2002)? I'm getting
really confused.

Outlook saves mail in .pst files.
..dbx files are used by Outlook Express.

All you need to do is find the .pst file you have been using and copy it

Right click the top of your folder tree-select properties.
Click the Advanced button
Look at the filename, that is the file that mail is in.
If you have more than one set of folders then do the same for each.

Hmmmm. It must be Outlook Express that is on the computer downstairs because
there are no .pst files on that computer. But I have Outlook the other
computer upstairs.
