how do I to remove file name from menu when access opens

I'm using the access 2003 inventory program. I deleted one of the files I
created but the name of the file still shows on the menu (Open box) when
access is opened. How do I remove the name from the menu?
 
It will go away with time as you fill your list with new files.
OR
Click on menu Tools - Option - General - and change Recently Used File List
number to one lower than that of it's position in the list. Click Apply and
Ok. Close Access. Open Access and reset the list size to your desired
number.
