How do I test a link in a new mail message?

When I enter a link in a new mail message I like to test it before sending
the email. Since installing Office 2003 at home links in new mail messages
are recognized as links (they turn blue and are underlined) but I cannot
click on the link to launch it. The mouse pointer does not change to the
finger and clicking on the link does not work. I just installed SP1 and it
did not fix this.

I use Outlook 2003 on computers at work and at home. My work computer was
just recently upgraded to Microsoft XP and Office 2003 and I do not have this
problem on that computer. Is there an optional setting that I just can't
find that changes this?

Thanks.

If you're using Word as your email editor, you need to hold down the Ctrl
key as you click the link.
