how do I switch my email account

Hi,
I just got a new computer and I don't know where to find the information to
get to my old emails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
That depends on where your old emails are.
Are they on an older computer, or are they on a website?
If the former, is your old computer still accessible, and which
email program did you use on it?
