How do I stop Word 2007 auto-completing dates?

I cannot seem to stop this every time I type a date. Can't find any help
anywhere - as usual. What to do before it drives me completely mad?
 
Do the following to turn off AutoComplete suggestions in Word 2007: Press
Alt+F11 to display the Visual Basic Editor. Press Ctrl+G to activate the
Immediate window. Type

Application.DisplayAutoCompleteTips = False

and press Enter. Close the Visual Basic Editor.
