Hi ... How do you stop the clicking sound when using the
mouse ... I mean when i click on any pages i hear this
clicking sound ... How can it be disable or stop from
making this sound ????

Hi PaulXXX,

In Control Panel, open the Sounds and Audio Devices applet. Click on the
Sounds tab. In the Program Events field, scroll to locate "Select".....click
on "Select" to highlight it, then in the Sounds field, use the drop-down
picklist to choose "(None)" (should be at the top of the list), then click
on Apply then OK.

Regards,

Hi ... That didn't do it ... I remember i did this once
before but i can't remember how its done again but its in
the same area that you mention but if i can remember i
had to scroll down in one of them topics and change it
from there ... Does anyone know what it is i am trying to
do ??? Just disable the clicking sound

Start -> Control Panel
-> Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices -> Sounds and Audio
Devices -> Sounds tab -> Program Events list menu ->
Windows Explorer -> Start Navigation. Click on the
Sounds drop down menu and choose none, or whatever sound
you like.

Hope this helps.

Just remember how ... here it is how >>>> Control
Panel>sounds and audio devices>sounds. Find "start
navigation" in the list, click on it to highlight it and
then in the box where it says sounds, click the down
arrow and select none from the list of sounds. Don't
forget to click apply before closing the window.

I have all sounds set to None, so I wasn't sure the exact event for which
you wanted to disable the sound. I'm glad that you were able to pinpoint the
event.
