How do I stop receiving prompts to merge versions of documents?

I maintain versions of documents to keep record of who made what changes and
when. I increment the version number in the file name. Suddenly, Word XP has
started prompting me to merge these various documents. I continually select
"No, and don't ask me again"....but I keep getting these interrupting
prompts. Any idea how to STOP them??? I don't know how I turned this feature
ON but I sure would like to turn it OFF.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?cm9zZW5iYW4=?=,

If this is what I think it is, then it's an option in OUTLOOK that inserts some
properties into documents you're sending by Email to help you with versions
being sent around.

Uncheck in Outlook's Tools/Options/Email/EMail options/Advanced email options,
the very last entry.
