Ever since I installed that big security download, my Outlook will not let me
send pictires, Word dodcs, or most any attachments. I cannot figure out why,
or what to do, and doing this is crucial to my work! Funny, though, Outlook
Express gets most through, but it is not my mailer of choice. how can I
correct this?

what happens when you try? are you using a firewall?

Sorry it took so long to reply. I had to figure this out, as I'm new to
discussion groups. I have a Router for a connector between my 2 computers, no
other firewalls I'm a parapelelegic Realtor working out of my home with the
help a 2 licensed assisstants and 1 maint man, so Outlook has allways been my
"mailer" of choice, however(ironically), Oulook Express seems to make it
through, attachments and all???Oulook has more items i can use than OEXP

Under Tools, Options, Mail Format

Change the mail format to HTML or Plain Text and turn of MSWord as the mail
editor.

This should fix the problem.

I am using Outlook XP and had the same problem. I had selected Rich Text and
had Word as my editor. I deleted Word as the editor and selected HTML - and
the problem was still there. But, when I switched to plain text, the problem
was corrected.
