How do I solve nested subtotals not outling/nesting properly?

With nested subtotals I should get something that looks like
D Total
C Total
DC Total
E Total
F Total
EF Total

DCED Total

Instead I'm getting something that looks like
D Total
C Total
DC Total
E Total
F Total
DCED Total
EF Tota

Any time I go more than two levels of subtotals the
nesting gets out of sequence.

Any advise?

Thanks,

Buster

Multilevel subtotals are in the wrong position in Excel 2002 and in Excel
2003
