How do I share outlook 2003 on one computer with 2 users? The email address
is the same for the 2 of us and I want all the messages, contacts etc to be
displayed the same for each user - ie so we can both see the same messages
even when logged in under our separate users.

Hi Bradley,

For personal users who do not have an Exchange Server, Outlook data is stored in Personal Folder files (*.pst). Outlook uses Personal Folder files to store Information such as
messages, contacts, calendar, etc.

Outlook also uses profiles to allow multiple users to keep their information separate. If you want to share the same information for both users, just create two separate profiles if you want,
and have them both point to the same .PST file.

For more information on on how to create Outlook profiles, please refer to Knowledge Base article KB;EN-US;829918

Thanks for your reply Scott,

Sorry to trouble you more but can you explain how I can have the two XP
users pointing to the same .PST file - how do I set this up? I have tried
changing the file name in Personal Folders in Outlook so they both match up
but I am unable to edit this, do I need to create a new Personal folders file
and if so how do I do this and link the two??

Thanks again for your time.

Let one user create a new PST, browsing to Shared Documents or some other
place both have shared access to create it. The then other user can click
Tools>Open>Outlook Data File and browse to that same PST. Now both will
have the same PST in their mail profile. It won't be the delivery location,
but each user can change that with Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next. One caution.
The PST can't be opened by both users at the same time (unless you use Fast
User Switching).
