How do i setup Outlook so i can email another computer over a LAN without a
server? Do i have to have a server or can it be accomplished without one? I
have a server but i really do not want to use it because i cannot afford
server software.

Any help is great!

You need a mail server to send email - there are some cheap or free ones
that will run on windows 98/xp. Search google for them.

Linux pop running Sendmail will do fine. Configure
Outlook to POP the server.
