I am trying to setup private directories for people to use with their Outlook
accounts... Versions of Outlook vary from 2003 to 2000. I found also that you
have to press ctrl+k for it to check the names, is there another way of
automating this?

Thanks

For Outlook 2002/2003, you can add an LDAP address book provider via Tools >
Email Accounts > Add a new directory or address book.

Outlook 2000 has to be configured in Internet Mail Only mode to support LDAP
address books. Outlook 2000's Internet Mail Only account dialogs are just
like the ones found in Outlook Express.

I don't know of a way outside of doing a VB/VBA sendkeys to automate a
ctrl+k or reiterating the command bars object and perform an execute on the
correct menu/toolbar item.
