How do I setup a PowerPoint back ground to display on a 16:9 Plas.

I am using a 50" plasma for PowerPoint presentaions. The challenge is
getting the slide show to display in the native 16:9 aspect ratio of the
plasma. The plasma and PC I'm using are compatible at a native resolution of
1280 x 768 pixels. Is there away to setup PowerPoint to address these
requirements?
