M. B.

Here is my situation:

My DESKTOP machine is running Windows XP Pro SP1 with the Linksys WRT54G
router. I have a LAPTOP that is running Windows 2000, and I would like to
allow it to "connect" to my DESKTOP so that I can copy some files from it
onto my DESKTOP machine.

How do I do this?

The LAPTOP has a wireless card and I already have it setup to access the
internet without any problems.

M.B.,

Here are a couple websites that should tell you what you need to know:
http://www.cablesense.com/
http://www.homenethelp.com/

Put both machines in the same workgroup. Setup and use a common
account with identical password on both machines.

Post back here, and we'll continue.

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
