How do I set up the Bibliography for a endnoted paper?

The software will not allow me to insert a section break below the End Notes.
How can I avoid putting the Bibliography for the research paper in a
different file? The Word 2003 software will not allow me to put any sort of
break at the end to allow the proper formatting. I don't want a template;
just instructions on this last gnarly detail for my paper.

Whoops, sorry, didn't read your message properly. You are probably trying
to put the section break into "endnote space", which is a bad idea.

Temporarily switch into Normal View. The endnotes will hide. Put a section
break where you want it, probably:

Text of document

Endnotes Heading
[nothing here, but if you set up the endnotes as in the link, Word will put
them here as "end of section"]
Section Break Next Page

Bibliography Heading

Type bibliography.

I have tried to follow the directions from the Office Online document noted
in response to this question but I cannot get it to work. I put a section
break prior to where the endnotes, but when I try to suppress endnotes for
the entire document it keeps reverting back to suppress for this section
only. I am using Word 2000.

Is there anything else I can do? I can't get page layout to "ungrey"
because I can't get the endnotes suppressed for the entire document (at least
that's what I think is the problem.

Try suppressing them section by section, perhaps?

What do you mean by "can't get page layout to ungrey". Where is page layout
greyed out?

PS. That is not an Office Online link, which is MS's site, but a volunteer
page.
