How do I set up sound during slide tranisitions if not installed?

I am trying to simply set up the sound effects for my slide presentations.
When I go to the category "slide transitions," and select the sound effect
(i.e. applause), the computer says it is not installed and asks if I want to
install. I select yes and then I am instructed to put in the microsoft XP
professional with front page disc. I put that in the disc drive and then get
another error message saying it can't be found and try to locate proplus.msi.
I did this too and even tried to install propus.msi through the start menu
and can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone help?

Hi,

There are a number of possibilities. For example:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/297834/

If , within Windows XP you go Start, Help and support, type Proplus.msi into
the help finder and you will see results, one of which, hopefully, is
appropriate.
