I presenting a PowerPoint Presentation by email. I do not want the viewers
to have the ability to skip slides. They need to view the entire
presentation. Office 2003. Would appreciate any help as quickly as possible.

Thanks,
Arlene

This isn't fool proof, but you could Save As a PowerPoint show or change the
extension to .pps. That way if they launch it from email, it will launch in
full slide show mode so they can't skip.

A more full proof method is to convert your PPT to an exe, but you'll need
to Compress it into a ZIP folder in order to email it (right click on the PPT
file, then Send to > Compressed Folder). Instructions for converting to an
exe can be found here:

In slide transitions turn off "Advance on Mouse Click". Just make certain
you have it advance automatically after so many seconds.

You can also click Slide Show > Set Up Show.
Under show type, select kiosk mode.
Click Ok.

Then click View > Master > Slide Master.
Add a next and previous action buttons.
Close Master View.

This prevents from skipping any slides and can only navigate through your
action buttons. Right clicking in the slide show and using the keyboard
navigation will not work either, so the only way to move around is through
action buttons.

If it has to be "foolproof"
1. Put an action button on the master (hyperlink to next slide)
2. In slide show>set up show > browsed at a kiosk
3. Tools>options>security set a password to modify (NOT open!)

As Tohlz said they will not be able to use any method except hyperlink to
next slide AND they will not be able to modify the settings. They will get a
password message on opening and need to know to click "open read 0nly"
