How do I set up Outlook to delete messages from my Cox.net accoun.

I am getting a message from my Cox.net account administrator that my mailbox
is reaching quota capacity with advise that I clean out some of my folders. I
would like to set Outlook so that my Cox.net mailbox is cleared of messages
as soon as they are downloaded into my computer. Cox.net technical support
doesn't support Outlook and couldn't help. How do I do this? Thanks.
 
You want to go to Tools/Email Accounts/View or change existing email
accounts. Highlight the appropriate account and click Change. Once in the
account properties, click the More Settings button. Go to the Advanced tab.
Make sure that "Leave a copy of messages on the server" is not checked.
