How do I set up Outlook Rules with Microsoft Exchange?

My organization has migrated users from a pop mail server to Microsoft
Exchange. As a result, my email rules were also migrated to the server, but
the organization has decided to limit the number of rules that users can
save. I had over 300 rules previously sorting mail into several hundred
email folders, but now I am limited to 50 rules. I have currently set up one
rule that retrieves and stores all of my incoming mail from Exchange into a
separate email folder. However, I then have to run my Outlook rules on this
folder in order to complete the sorting process. Because I am limited to 50
rules in Exchange, I have +/- 250 rules that are not active in the Rules
Wizard - I have to click on the ones I want to run which is a horrendous
process. Is there a way to run a client base set of rules on my Exchange
email box in order to bypass this 50 rules storage limit imposed by my
company? I am using Microsoft Outlook XP (2002). Thanks in advance.

The organization didn't make this decision. You are running into a hard
coded limit of Microsoft Exchange. Basically the server limits everyone to
32KB of storage for rules and this limit cannot be changed.

I'll pass that on to our TSG technician who advised me that the limitation
was company imposed. But is there a answer to my question - is there a
workaround?

Nope and every year those that support Exchange/Outlook ask for that storage
limit to changed.
