This information service has not been configured. Select an existing file to
configure or type the name of a new file to configure. This message comes up
when I try to open Microsoft Outlook. I previously used Outlook Express and
it worked fine. How do I set it up?

You will need to configure a mail account and type in all of the correct
settings. If you tell us the mode of Outlook 2000 (Check Help->About,
second line should say either Corporate or Workgroup or Internet Mail Only)
someone can point you in the right direction.

After furious head scratching, sewingmema asked:

When I attempt to look at the help in Microsoft Outlook, it asks me if I want
to use the default folders. Yes or No?

Then you need to set up a profile under Control Panel->Mail Icon and
configure your mail accounts. It sounds like you are using C/W mode without
a profile configured.

I have the profile set up - identical to the one that I used in Outlook
Express and it is set to be default.
