How do I set up drop-down lists in Word?

I want to set up a list of items in Word that expand and shrink under a
topic. For example:

+Main Topic - expands to:

-Main Topic
Sub Topic
Sub Topic
Sub Topic

Can this be done?
 
I think you're looking for the Outline functions in Word - which allows you
to have your main topic, a bunch of paragraphs (or even pages) each being a
sub-topic that you can show or hide at will.

If this is what you're after, do a search in Word's help for "Create a
document outline". It will walk you through the steps far better than we can
here (with pictures and everything).
